Tillamook Bay Fall Chinooks

Fall Chinook fishing at Tillamook Bay with Toman Spinners.  This is one of the most exciting trips out there.  Catching salmon up to 40+ pounds in 6 feet of water or less is almost too much to handle.  With the water being so shallow the fish can only go up and then make long runs.  This means tight drags and sore arms.  October is the best time to be at Tillamook.  This trip can accommodate 1-4 anglers.  Jet boat trip 8 hours $200 per angler.

 

Winter Steelhead

Toman’s Guide service fishes on the Clackamas River, Kalama, and several rivers on the Olympic Peninsula.  We fish either from the 25 ft Alumaweld Super Vee jet sled or the 17 ft Alumaweld Drift Boat.  Both are comfortable with lots of fishing room.  The Jet Sled trip can take up to 4 anglers while the Drift boat is better for just 2 anglers.   Jet Sled trip are 8 hours long $180 per angler.  Drift boat trips are $225 per angler.

 

Spring Chinooks

Spring Chinook starts in late April on the Lewis River in Washington and stays good until the end of May.  The Clackamas River is also a favorite spot for Spring Chinooks towards the end of May.  Both rivers are beautiful and close to Portland.  Average sizes of these fish are 10-25 pounds.  Nothing tastes better then fresh Spring Chinook.  When the Columbia River is open to sport fishing we will also fish there in early April.  Jet boat trip 8 hours $180 per angler.

 

Deschutes Summer Steelhead

Here is your chance for one of the great Jet Boat trips in Oregon.  The boat ride alone is worth the price of admission.  This is one of the truly beautiful rivers of Oregon.  Summer Steelhead return every year on the Deschutes from August thru October.  Casting Fly’s or Lures in waist deep water is not only fun but challenging to many anglers.  The fight of the Steelhead is second to none.  The largest of these fish going 18-25 pounds.  This will test any angler’s ability especially on a fly rod.  Dates are limited due to the popularity of this trip so book your date soon.  We take groups of 2-5 people and can fit a single angler in with smaller groups.  Jet boat trip 8 hours $225 per angler
